Our Guesthouse / Cottage:

Our guesthouse is situated a little apart from the main residence, to grant distance and privacy, yet in "safe" proximity. It’s surrounded by forest and meadow, by flowerbushes and pineapple plants, by sunshine and shadow.

It was built in 1996 according to the ancient principal of Vaasthushastram and is being renovated in regular intervals. It consists of one sleeping-/livingroom (24 qm) with windows opening to all 4 directions to let in a breeze at every season, a west veranda with a small kitchenette and dining place facing the sunset, an east veranda towards the sunrise and the landscape (each app. 16 qm). A spacious open-air bathroom is attached to take a shower under the stars.

Furnished by using the natural local materials of clay, forest wood, hand-woven and vegetable dyed cotton fabrics, old traditional wooden furnishing, and modern mosquitonets.

There is a tea/coffee making facility, a fridge, water heater, fans, an aircooler can be provided, easy chair and hammock invite you. The fibre internet connection is fast and reliable.

We very much care for cleanliness (but still: we are in the tropics and the sight of a cockroach for example cannot be totally excluded) and environmentally responsible usage of our natural resources.

Children are very welcome.
